I’m also happy to report that we saw over 300% increase in job seekers using our platform in the last month. It seems there’s no such thing as a summer low when it comes to searching for meaningful, important jobs!
And on a personal note, I'm pleased to share that I recently submitted my research project on the environmental determinants of photovoltaic efficiency, and completed my second degree in Environmental Science at the Open University. I started studying this field in 2018 after having witnessed the effects of climate change in different parts of the world, where I was travelling with my wife at that time. As an engineer by profession, I was drawn to the energy-related subjects at the uni and became a bit of a renewable energy nerd. And I thought, since I know a bit of programming, I could as well try to help more people find work in this exciting field. So here we are.

Australian Government Approves AAPowerLink Project to Export Solar Energy to Singapore
Imagine being part of a project that is pushing the boundaries of technology and redefining the future of global energy. Just last week, the Australian Government approved the landmark AAPowerLink project, a pioneering initiative that will connect Australia's vast solar resources (17-20 GWp) to Singapore via a 4,300km undersea cable.
Singapore has been predominantly dependent on fossil fuels for its electricity generation. This project will reduce Singapore's emissions by 6 million tonnes per year using the world's largest solar farm, the world's largest battery and the world's longest undersea power cable. Ambitious!
